Experimental apparatus
The laboratory instruments include the ultrasonic motion capture system, active and passive optical motion capture system, force plate, muscle tensiometer, and wireless electromyography for the investigation of the general human-movement related issues. In order to understand the movement performance of the human body when it is interfered with by unexpected external forces, this laboratory specially developed a set of human posture interference and balance control evaluation platform to discuss the feedforward and feedback mechanism of the human movement. In addition, portable head motion and portable lower limb movement analysis system has also been developed to solve the problem of insufficient space in the general clinical consultation and difficult to accurately assess the patient's physical function. In terms of the clinical evaluation, various types of assistive devices were developed to assist patients with different movement deficits, including upper extremity fixation aids, lower extremity walking aids, sitting and standing aids, portable neck exercise training system, smart health assessment system, mixed reality function evaluation system, etc.
